RapidSwitch installs 3,000th server!

Posted by edb49, 10-11-2007, 09:50 AM RapidSwitch are delighted to announce that on 9th October 2007 we put live our 3,000th server. We would like to thank all of our clients, both existing and new, for their vote of confidence in our services. On the 15th May 2006 we installed our 1,000th server, which means that RapidSwitch's clients have ordered an average of 120 new servers every month since.
The 3,000th server to go live was for Pure Fiction Media Ltd. RapidSwitch believes it has a social responsibility and as part of this we invited Mr Magill of Pure Fiction Media Ltd to nominate a charity for us to make a £3,000 donation to; £1 for every server installed.
Pure Fiction Media Ltd nominated Tearfund's Sanitation and Water Appeal to receive the £3,000 donation. More than 1.1 billion people worldwide lack access to safe water and 2.6 billion lack basic sanitation facilities. Tearfund supports programmes that empower communities to develop or improve their own water supplies. Local people are encouraged to choose their own sites, and decide on the technology used and other aspects of design and construction.
