Availanet Launches Hosted Mailbox Backup for CPanel Hosts

This subscription service allows operators of CPanel servers the ability to have all email sent from through servers securely stored offsite and recovered on demand.

Overland also notes that server backups do not normally protect clients from catastrophic desktop failure and that Availanet is a major step to being able to provide the level of service only available with Microsoft Exchange up until now.
