GNAX Selects Avocent for Remote Console / Power Project

Global Net Access, LLC. (GNAX) and its subsidiary Tranxact Global have chosen Avocent which is a leader in remote serial console and ip over KVM for their remote console upgrade project.

The first units are on order to provide remote serial console and power management to our remote customer. We will be migrating our dual cpu customers to this first and the integrated power managment will replace the current APC functionality.

A web interface will be provided that will group your server in the data center onto on page with a click link for the remote console or reboot in one place. you will also be able to ask for your end customers (if you are a reseller) to have their individual servers grouped for them by their login while you maintain a global view of all your servers in one easy to use place.

We believe this will be a significant advantage and benefit to our customers over competing offers.

Look for the first servers to be tested live over the next 2 weeks and then ongoing rollouts to start on 12/1.
