"approximately 30-60 minutes is a good estimate as to actual downtime"

was offline for more than 90 minutes... and still offline

Posted by BurstNET, 09-03-2013, 11:50 AM
Can I get specifics on your service please, as nothing we are aware of has lasted that long, as most have been < 30 minutes...so we'll look into your issue directly. Ticket # would be helpful please....

vserver4006

is offline
2 hours

I didn't get the notification, I thought it was some specific issue with my VPS as it showed online but after several reboots or shutdown + boot I couldn't get it to work.

Ticket: #GZP-512-54922

It was down exactly at the only hour I need to use the VPS, 11 AM through 12 AM PST :/

I didn't get the notification either.

Server has been offline since 2013-09-03 13:42:44 EDT, was offline a few hours before then as well but then came back up.

I have had a ticket open since 10:08 AM EST without any reply.

Ticket #ADY-704-63847

Please send all server/vps down ticket to our reboot dept, not technical support, or response will be delayed.
I moved your ticket to reboot dept, and you should have a response shortly therefore.

After migration to Digiport, network 184.22.126.x works only to ping with 84 bytes, when we send or receive more than 1KB we lost the packet.

I have openned a ticket after receive Migration OK e-mail from BustNet and I'm waiting 8 hours with no reply.

I have 3 VPS in this network and I don't know if BurstNet is aware about this matter because they don't reply any ticket.

It's not easy to work without any feedback, we need need to know what is happening so we can inform our customers.

Are you having actual connectivity problems or only issues with ping? If ping, it's possible they are rate limiting ICMP packets, but if it's affecting everything, it'd be a little more serious ;-)

Posted by nvhosting, 09-30-2013, 12:24 AM
I have problem with all connections, ping was only a sample.

If I access any website I receive only a party of the page in all VPS, the same with cPanel, mail and ftp.

They went out to our entire Miami client base.
You can verify they were sent to you in the email log history in your client interface with us...

I'm not webmaster7 or skendrick.

What are you doing to solve the problem?

You have a time to reply here, why don't you reply your customer tickets?

Because you don't want me responding to your tickets.
I am not technical support, and cannot answer technical questions for you, I don't have the knowledge to do so.

Yesterday's migration notification was received fine, but on September 3rd your system may have that log, but emails weren't received (I checked the spam folder).

Same here... received yesterday's email but not the previous one. Nothing in junk mail nor did I see any sort of announcement in their client portal when I submitted the ticket. It would have been nice to have known though so I wouldn't have wasted my time trying to figure out why the VPS was down.

So is Burst leasing cages in HostDime? Odd Miami went off line same time they got knocked offline from the DDoS they are currently under.

We have nothing to do with HostDime.
We relocated our Miami operations into a facility (Digiport) we now manage ourselves, and have full control over.
This allows for better pricing, services, and offerings to our client base in the fast growing Miami market.
We expect to be offering pricing similar to our PA offerings, in this Miami facility, in the near future.

I have a VPS in this location as well and my monitoring system was reporting issues with the location this morning. It appears to be back up now.

I am regretted about getting this server at Miami.

My server on Scranton, PA gave me so few problems.

This server in Miami is crap. A full day with lag, disconnections, high latency pings...

Posted by BurstNET, 11-13-2013, 05:21 PM
We are not having issues in our Miami facility, nor have we been.

There was a virtual transport circuit down from PA to FL on our network, so depending on where you are coming in from, that might be what you were seeing. But even that was only for a couple hours very early this morning.

Most likely this is specific to your service, or maybe some route having an issue.
I would recommend you contact our support dept for assistance.

I have one server on Scranton.

When I ping from Miami (1gbps port) to Scranton (1gbps port)

I get high latency pings.

Problem with server? I have 3 accounts on it, none of them active.

Just waiting this problem to go!

We are looking into this for yo currently.
Problem looks to be specific to your server....not a network issue.

This was a defective ethernet cable to your server, replaced, working fine now!
