Cloud3K - RockMyWeb down ?
Posted by AlexandruStefan, 08-29-2013, 09:23 AM |
I've just noticed that my cloud3k vps is down for just over 1 hour now, also I am not able to access to control panel in order to submit a ticket.
Anybody else have the same issue ? |

I assume it is rockmyweb.net ? Down from here too. |

I guess so, because as far as I know Cloud3K is a subsidiary of RockMyWeb...
I've sent an email to Devon one hour ago.. still waiting for him to reply.. |

We are in the process of replacing a switch on one of our racks that went bad. This left a few of our servers without network connectivity including our personal web/dns server.
Client DNS is hosted on a separate system and are spread out across two datacenters, so most client servers and DNS should be unaffected. I apologize for the delay, emails are not getting through properly. |

Any ETA on when this will be fixed? |

The majority of systems are back online. One system is in the process of being restarted. |

It seems that my VPS is down again for more than 7 hours.
Can you provide an ETA please ? |

Sorry, it's my mistake, it seems that there was an unexpected restart, and my db and apache server didn't start at boot.
The vps is fine now. |

Was the restart on our end? I don't see any downtime notifications or tickets, feel free to submit one so we can see why a restart occurred. You may want to make sure every service you need is set to start at boot because of how our failover works.
Thanks! |
