OneProvider AU down for 24 hours... again.

oneprovider.com AU location is down for +24 hours again. Less than month after 4 - 5 days of outage in same location. And maybe 3- 4 months after 3 days of downtime and data loss on other location.

This time they said power outage in DC. 24 hours and counting.

@NetDepot - Terrence I use other options. It will just take some time that this crappy service expire. After past experiences they can't fool me anymore to run anything on their servers. I never saw a host who would take regular days or weeks long downtimes so lightly. Most likely because frequency of those occurrences.

And as it seems some other experienced recently similar issues on other locations too: OneProvider US-CA down 150 hours, no detail explanation

There is a 99.9% chance your provider is straight up lying to you as none of the Equinix buildings, Global Switch etc. are offline nor have they been recently for anything power related.

We have racks in a couple of the Equinix buildings and feed network through GlobalSwitch etc...nothing is offline as a whole nor am I aware of any partial issues.

Does anybody already know any exact reason for the outage(s)? Is it network or power related?

We have services in both Global Switch and Equinix and our own datacentre in Melbourne with no issues what so ever here!
Hope that helps

Kindest Regards
James

They said only "There currently seems to be a complete power outage in the DC" yesterday and server is back online today without further explanation.
Luckily I didn't host anything with them this time as they are too unpredictable to work with. I will let it idle to expire in two months or so.
