It seems like they may have changed servers. On their homepage, the following message is displayed

Quote:
For those whom use server 2, change your nameservers to the following:
ns1.premiumcheap.com >> 184.95.33.58
ns2.premiumcheap.com >> 184.95.33.59
If you need help, visit or client area: Client Area
It also seems that their WHMCS is no longer Themed... I wonder what happened

I think they are just shifting web hosting servers. You probably should of received some emails from them stating this? Is the site not working at all?

Seems that someone else is having issues and posted on their facebook page 11 hours ago. Something is making me wonder what's going on.

No Annoucements on their client area, no tweets, no facebook posts.

I thought I'd try and open a ticket to ask about it and I got this "No support departments found. Please try again later."

Posted by iKrazie, 07-31-2013, 01:11 PM
I posted there as well. Sites have been down for over 14 hours now, no replies to Email and as you said the ticket queue is down too. There are also people on twitter who are having issues too.

I had about 12 sites loaded under my reseller account and although my main account has somewhat returned everything under it is gone.

I received no emails or notifications regarding the change.

I tried re-signing up for a support account in their client area since my old log in would not work and once the account is created I get the same thing as Michaeldance above "No support departments found. Please try again later."

So there is no way to contact anyone for a follow up or assistance.

You can try Email support [at] rlshosting.com and rlshosting [at] gmail as well. Of course that hasn't helped me at all, so good luck there.

I really need to find a more stable host. I have quite a few domains hosted that are ranking as #1 result for a lot of keywords. I can't afford all of this downtime lately.

We don't use facebook.com/rlshosting anymore. We can't acess it. Use facebook.com/rlshosting2

Please pm us your account usernames so that we can restore it. We are trying to restore the whmcs database again and it's not completely restored yet.

Posted by M Bacon, 07-31-2013, 01:48 PM
Also, if you have a shared account. I can move you to a much more stable datacenter. Resellers have to stay on the old server or move to a different host if they wish. Main reason why everything went down is because cpremote didn't delete one account. It deleted the whole server. Licensing didn't work either. cPremote had to reissue the license which all the sudden we can do now in there whmcs. So, the backups are either old or non-existant. Most of the backups are there. It just it takes a long time. If I could speed it up, I would in a heart beat. It's hard to do more than one restore at a time because it puts extra load on the server while restoring backups and rsyncing everything to the server.

hmm I take it you need x amount of posts to send pms, which apparently I don't have. Is there any other way for me to send the username?

Posted by M Bacon, 07-31-2013, 01:54 PM
Yes. rlshosting@gmail.com.

Posted by iKrazie, 07-31-2013, 01:57 PM
Information sent. Thank you. Whichever server is fine as well as long as it's stable.

Please update the status somewhere so that you can communicate it to all your clients without sending them mails personally.

Completely down right now.

How exactly because it's quite worrying for those who might be using it?

Check either facebook or twitter for information. Usually downtime is unexpected unforunately.

Server should be up at this time. If not, please open a ticket, it might be a firewall issue.

Well, what happened is that I was trying to restore a /home/user/public_html directory and it deleted the / portion of the drive instead of replacing the users /home/user/public_html. It deletes the users files and repalces them right after but this time it deleted the whole server.

Have you contacted Syslint about this?

Posted by M Bacon, 08-04-2013, 02:25 AM
No. I haven't. I just removed the script from my servers right after this happened.

I think it would be wise to contact them so they can take a look since this is potentially dangerous. Which version was you running?

Posted by M Bacon, 08-04-2013, 08:06 AM
7.0 is the version I was running.

Posted by iKrazie, 08-07-2013, 03:02 PM
Anyone else having issues with them still? I haven't heard back from them since Monday and my site has been down since yesterday. It keeps going down and redirecting on a daily basis.

Posted by M Bacon, 08-08-2013, 06:21 PM
It should be up again. We are very sorry. Your site wasn't down that long. We have been swamped. That's why we take longer than usual at the moment. We read your emails. We don't always reply to them.

Posted by pergamino, 08-11-2013, 09:55 AM
It back now

Posted by M Bacon, 08-11-2013, 09:42 PM
No. We aren't the worst provider ever. If we were, we'd run and take your money without giving any service.
