Hi,

I apologize for the inconvenience. It seems that the server went into Kernel Panic.

I am not sure what the purpose of this thread is, as you can see the announcement in the network section of your client area. Please follow it for more updates.

Just curious, is linuxfox there white label domain or something?

We use it for all of our server names.

It was down on May 14, 2013. Now it's down again.

In April it was down for 4 days - http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?p=8652273

My memory isn't short.

I have 2 VPS and the other one is with Turnkey Internet. The other one is rarely ever down.

This is now down for over an hour. When is it going to be up? Are you planning to have multi-days downtime again?

I guess the purpose would allow non-customers to see the downtime that different providers have.

I know that if I had seen it I wouldn't have signed up with TMZ.

Hello,

Here is the reason why the node went down:

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?p=8746978

http://wiki.openvz.org/Download/kern.../042stab078.27
Description: [security] a denial of service flaw was found in a sending message with a specific socket option set. A local unprivileged user could use this flaw to crash the system resulting in DoS (#2648)

The server crashed due to the bug mentioned above. We have now rebooted the server and upgraded it.
