Versaweb down

Posted by superpickle, 06-26-2013, 05:15 PM
Well I have been with Versaeeb for years and boy oh boy what a bumpy ride, right now the whole site is down, not just mine but versaweb itself! This happens so much anymore, does anyone have any advice for a great server that's dependable? I call every number they have but of course no humans only machines. And then it says sumbit a ticket but there whole site is down so you cant even get to versawe's site to submit a ticket UGH! I have lost so much money lately its getting depressing! This time my web designer took screen shots because they like to tell you they had no idea its been down, at least say oh yeah we have been down for 48 hours here's a partial refund or even a I'm sorry ya know? But like I told me web guy what does a screen shot matter, I just want a working site!

An hour ago my server went offline for 10 minutes when he came back I found that had been rebooted, and now versaweb.com and fiberhub.com are still offline for me for more than one hour, at least my server is online.

Hey,

I have 5 boxes and 3 boxes still seem to be down. I tried calling and submitting a ticket It's been nearly a hour now without a single update.

Same issue as the BuyVM thread below this one.

Fiberhub had an electrical failure of some sort. Parts of the datacenter seem to be offline and others seem to be fine.

I believe a few of the Las Vegas based hosts are having issues. Unable to reach some of them. Maybe it's an issue with the datacenter or provider?

My servers came back online after ~15 minutes. Zero uptime on the servers so there was an electrical issue. Unfortunately, I cannot establish any outbound connections from any of my servers.

I am seeing an outage myself, called up and they said that they lost power at the datacenter, and the generator didn't auto startup so the batteries died before it could start up and the electrician is on the way. Fortunately I only have one client there right now but he is mad.

We still cannot access the fiberhub network from any of our vpns. Looks like anything heading to them over timewarner is dead.

Posts moved from other threads. Seems to be a Fiberhub DC issue.

Back up and running on my end now. Looks like hard outage on my end too, I am thinking about sending over my own battery backup to cover my assets .

Hi Rob,

Is hostivia a part of versaweb still? I cant access any site, versaweb or hostivia; all my sites on thor have been down all day.

I am surprised there is no updates on any social media sites...
