GreenValueHost Main Server [power issues]

To whom it may concern,
GreenValueHost is currently having an issue with our main server. It is not responding due to a possible hijack. We are working as hard as we can to investigate the cause of the issue and restore all operations as soon as possible and this thread will be updated as soon as we know more details about the problem.

We have traced this issue down to a possible power issue with our datacenter in Buffalo, NY - ColoCrossing as we've been notified that all of our provider's nodes have been abruptly shut down & rebooted.
We're working as quickly as possible to attempt to contact the datacenter to find out more information about this issue. |

We have now confirmed that this is indeed a power issue with ColoCrossing's Buffalo NY facility that impacted some of their cabinets.
They are currently investigating this issue and we will have this thread updated as soon as possible. |

Is this issue resolved? or is the ddos issue mentioned on twitter resolved?
I have a reseller account with you. All my sites are down. Can't access them. Tried submitting a ticket, but it doesn't go through. Get the ticket field, fill everything in, but when I go to submit, it cancels out.
Looking for help here, Jon. Sorry to bring this up in a public forum, but I know no other way of contacting you.

Hi Eric,
This is most likely a problem with your internet connection.
Our ticketing system is working fine and none of your websites has experienced any downtime. I can access your websites completely fine without any issues.
Our main website and client area did receive a small to medium sized DNS Amplification DDoS attack a few days ago however that has been resolved. The server that was affected as a result of the attack was not the server that your account was placed on.

It's possible that they were using ColoCrossing's datacenter as well however unfortunately I have no knowledge of anything related to servebydesign.net. |
