They took it down on purpose a couple weeks ago, supposedly some kind of exploit they need to patch before turning it back on. |

It is still not available, but it is not that important, is it? AS long as the upstreams are online and working fine, it is OK. |

Well, it IS important to some people. Obviously its not a paid service so there's really no obligation for Level3 to keep providing it, but its very helpful for troubleshooting network issues. I used to use it frequently for sending links to customers to show ping times and traceroutes from places outside our network. |
