DNSMadeEasy down

Posted by araknid, 11-25-2012, 11:33 AM
DNSMadeEasy seems to be down as of ~20-30mins ago. All of our sites are failing to resolve. Anyone know what's going on? Have sent them a tweet.

It's not their site that's down, it's their nameservers. I am down too. ns10 - ns15

TO clear this up, nameservers were under DDOS attack at that time:

[Sun Nov 25 11:25:11 EST 2012] - Name servers ns10, ns11, ns12, ns13, ns14, and ns15 are under DDoS at the moment. Administrators and network technicians have been notified and mitigation solutions are in full affect. DDoS scrubbing facilties have been activated. No DNS traffic loss has occurred but query times may be a little slower than normal.

I actually checked by logs of my web servers during that time and have seen no traffic fluctuations what so ever. Seems sort of strange that you are the only of of the DNS Made Easy users that noticed any downtime. Webhostingtalk itself currently uses DNS Made Easy, actually uses ns10-ns15 like you are staying you had problems with. So actually not sure how the original poster made it to WHT to make the post if they were down.... very strange post. Especially from a new account with 4 posts.
