Ramhost down?

Posted by Jay2012, 10-12-2012, 10:50 PM
Is ramhost down or is it just me?
The status of my vps is "stopped", when I try to restart it, I got the "VE already locked" error.

Did you contact them and see what they had to say?

Your choice of thread titles is poor.

You just need to ticket them. They will just need to remove the lock, kill the checkpoint, and reboot the VM. Your data is fine.

So you are having issue with your personal vps and decided to post a thread with a title saying ram host down? Wow!

I just want to know if any other are having this issue,(if they have this issue too, then I don't need to play with the conf files trying to figured out what went wrong and how to fix it), beside I am pretty sure its not my vps that is having the issues, I checked the logs so many times, doesn't seem to be an issue, except that the vps is stopped and locked.

And when I created this thread, I didn't received email from Ramhost yet, so I do not know what is going on back then.

SO read the thread carefully before you start judging people.

Buddy, in this case, you posted in the wrong section. This is "Providers and Network Outages and Updates" and your title is wrong as well. No one is judging you.

When I created the thread, I have not yet received the email from Ramhost.

Anyway, I was told that VPS will boot up on its own, so I guess I am good now except a hour of downtime here and there.

Yea, I just want to know is the Ramhost's server is down or having issues, this is not the right section?
because I see everyone is posting this type of question here asking if a provider's server is down.

Anyway, if i post in the wrong section, I apologize.
