Disappointingly several of their servers migrated over the summer are down this morning. Going on 8+ hours.

There's a problem on the network on where this servers are colocated, we have techs already working on it...

I haven't seen this anywhere here so as a longtime lurker I thought I'd post. |

What for? We announced it on the help desk, twitter, facebook, answered all the tickets and chats request. What's the reason of your thread? |

I can't think of one, and to go through the trouble of signing up just to post it also?
Makes no sense. |

Sorry, then.
The helpdesk notice specifically requested customers not to open a ticket or to use their live chat. With just one brief alert message on the server downtime I thought since DTH was so respected here members might have more information on the situation. I also don't use twitter or facebook. |

We made the announcement of the problem and which servers were affected, I don't really get what is the need of this thread.
BTW; all servers are back online. |

Thank you. I can confirm servers are back up. |

Yes my websites were down as well for 8 hours. I am hosting my websites on server 28. This is the longest downtime I have ever faced with DTH. I requested for more information in support ticket but support staff failed to answer. No announcement was posted for atleast 3 hours after down time and I was worried about my data.
I am hosting my websites with DTH since 4 or 5 years but never seen any such critical error until today. |
