Blacklotus site down?

Posted by AG-Arco, 08-03-2012, 04:35 AM
Every time I go to their home page I seem to be seeing this:

They're actually using cPanel for their website? What's happening to them?

I'm getting a 503 when attempting to visit blacklotus.net. Usually this means a server misconfiguration or a strange DoS (as in a goofy PHP script dying).

www.blacklotus.net isn't even resolving at all for me however. Both records resolve to the same IP however (different virtualhosts?).

Assuming their normal services aren't down (which based off this they aren't) I wouldn't fret too much.

Working fine for me and haven't noticed an issue.

In addition even if their site was down, our black lotus service hasn't been impacted.

It's all resolving for me now as well. blacklotus.net redirecting to www.blacklotus.net now while previously it was throwing a 503 and www.blacklotus.net wasn't resolving.

Either way it was clearly a software related issue and not indicitive of their network / services.

Could just be some cleanup / www content work - they changed their page to reflect the ServerOrigin customers today and www.serverorigin.com redirects to blacklotus.net as well now.

Indeed, we were running into a slew of issues with our web servers as we attempted to consolidate some of our infrastructure last night.
