JaguarPC down on the 1st of every month now?

Went down on the 1st of June, now it's 1st of July and it's down again! I don't like this trend.

Their phone support at (888)-551-3050 is disconnected (temporarily?) too. What gives? This used to be my best VPS hosting, been a client for 6 years ...

I have several servers with them and none of these is down. On which node, you are hosted?

I'm on the theoden node. It must be specific to the node then. What's frustrating is that my ticket has not even been assigned in 40 minutes. I realise it's Sunday but this is supposed to be a 24/7 operation...

Sorry and I check it now. Servers are not down at all but there is network problem. 50% data is being lost and speed is very slow.

The network was down for me also.
Was a couple of days ago too.

It does feel like some sort of the a network problem, that's true. Just a few minutes ago I was trying to load the site and it was trying to connect for a very long time before timing out. Now the browser immediately shows the "Unable to connect" page (FireFox)

Looks like I was on an unresponsive node and it has now been restarted and came back online.

The network wasnt down at all, this may be an issue with the server you are on directly.

As for the number, we recently hired 14 new people and rearranged our support teams. Its received lots of praise for improved responses, however we did take a hit on response times. This is mostly a training issue, it takes existing techs to help train new ones and most are about 2-3 weeks in now. This week and moving forward we should see response times drop drastically and the phone support restored. Its currently redirecting people to live chat.

PM me, or email me or management with your ticket and we can take a look to see if its a server issue your experiencing and compensate you for it, after we of course fix it.

My server (dedicated) was also inaccessible at the same time of the OP.

Ok, maybe it was something related to some certain switch. I'll investigate , or rather make my network gurus investigate and we will update the forums announcements with whatever happened, and what steps we are taking to prevent it.

I stand corrected, there was a minor dd0s, 4-500mbp that slowed down the switches of a few racks, so several client types could have been affected but only a small fraction of clients.

We're looking into some better ddos protections, and we will add other 1gbp lines to a few other providers where we could divert traffic since these attacks seem to be unusually more frequent the last 6 months.
