DataShack Packet Loss?
Posted by fancypocket, 06-04-2012, 11:08 PM |
Encountering heavy packet loss on 3 of my servers at datashack. The rest of the servers are fine.
Is there anyone having the same issue? Previouslly, tech told me it was due to minecraft OR vps node on my servers, but I dont run any of those. |

64 packets transmitted, 11 packets received, 82.8% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 43.963/59.183/195.160/43.021 ms |

Typically if I see heavy packet loss and send in a ticket it's usually caused by a DDOS. But their pretty quick about null routing IP's when that happens.
My connection gets routed through LA first, and sometimes I see heavy congestion during a trace route, but that results in higher latency.
Here's what I got from AZ
Packets: Sent = 100, Received = 100, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 83ms, Maximum = 112ms, Average = 87ms |
