I can not access sagonet.com or any of my servers there. Any news from them?

Posted by bear, 05-31-2012, 01:55 PM
Nothing yet that I've heard. Can't reach mine, or portal.

Hello ,

Same problem with our servers and portal.

Thanks

We are currently experiencing issues which appear to stem from corruption in routing tables.

I am not one of the engineers, but wanted to provide an update. We are actively working to correct the issue.

All down here too.

Thank you Dave. It's been two hours now, at the moment I can access portal dot sagonet and sagonet.com but my servers cannot be reached yet.

Thanks, Dave. That's what it was looking like from here. Any estimates you can provide (seeing as many can't reach Sago's portal) would be helpful.

I managed to call through earlier, they said it is network provider problem, now I am waiting....

For me, downtime was about one hour, then back to normal, then another one hour downtime.

Only parts of my servers are affected

more 4 hours problems.

When the answer my server?

jiashanuk, thanks for the info

Three hours + now for me, at this moment, my servers apart, *.sagonet.com servers are down too.

Posted by bcinc, 05-31-2012, 04:58 PM
Over 3 and a half hours, and while sagonet.com was up for a moment, it's been down most of the time and appears to be now. Can't access sites/servers - was getting a 504 Gateway Timeout error before - now nothing. The best part is that in addition to portal etc., their phone support, being VOIP-based, is not working either.

I have been with sagonet for 10 years, usually their network is reliable, in this case, can we get compensation?

Posted by jiashanuk, 05-31-2012, 05:11 PM
it is back here

Posted by bcinc, 05-31-2012, 05:14 PM
Coming up on a decade here too - we have servers at several DCs and Sago is by far the least reliable. This was just the push I needed to get out of there for good. Click on my profile to see posts from some of the massive outages they've had recently. I'm done.

Hello
Amazing problem ; Still down ;

Posted by Sago Dave, 05-31-2012, 07:07 PM
I apologize for the delay, and want to provide an update.

At this time, we have been able to correct the routing issues which impacted the majority of systems. We are still working to do final clean up as I type this.

If you are still experiencing issues, please let us know through opening a ticket via portal, or emailing support directly.

Please work with your account manager directly for account related issues, or contact sales or myself if you are unsure.

Thank you for your patience.

Thanks Dave, everything I have there is finally up.
Not to state the obvious, but not being able to reach support during something like this was undesirable to say the least. Happy to be back, though.

I definitely understand, and we have already began upgrading the system to prevent a repeat.

The remaining systems are finalizing turnup.

In dealing with your account managers, please reference WHT15PCT for additional options.
