According to my colo provider (C4L), there is a power issue at the BSQ data centre in Maidenhead. No further information or ETA. |

BlueSquare 2/3 lost power briefly, BlueSquare 1 didn't. There was scheduled UPS maintenance work taking place on the UPS for BlueSquare 2/3 tonight, although this wasn't supposed to be service affecting due to the N+1 redundant configuration of the UPS.
This seems to have created some knock issues in the Pulsant core network according to their staff: "We are currently experiencing issues with our core network affecting customers at our Maidenhead facility. Our engineers are working on the problem and we will issue further updates."
Pulsant are being very slow to respond to tickets and aren't giving out any useful information. They haven't mentioned a power issue anywhere yet, this information is only coming from third parties on-site. |

All my equipment is still unreachable, even though power is supposedly back up and stable. |

Some racks may still need their individual circuit breakers resetting and some servers may need manual intervention to power back on.
It seems that Pulsant/BlueSquare may only have one technician on site from one report that I saw. |

Hi WHT
I understand from my colleagues that we lost power in Pulsant 2/3 at roughly 22:10 last night during some routine maintenance by our Data centre partner.
Last week we put details of this work on ph-status.com webpage that UPS maintenance was taking place on Wednesday night starting at 9pm and when we were able to we updated our status page to inform our customers of this issue.
As soon as power was restored we started rebooting the servers that had lost power, If you were one of the customers that was affect your server should now be back online and fully functionable - If this is not the case please raise a ticket via the portal and one of the NOC engineers will get on this.
If you feel that there is anything that I can help with personally please feel free to send an email to tbrown@poundhost.com or a drop me a DM on here. |
