Posted by Kevin Hillstrand, 05-08-2012, 09:01 PM |
There are reports about Virpus's website and client area being down over at Lowendtalk: http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion...virpus-is-down
Can anyone confirm if there VPS containers may be offline?
I am not a customer, but right now I can confirm there website is not loading. |

Yup, still not resolving. But I'm not having any services with them atm. Would it be because the server problem, or with the CloudFlare? |

FWIW according to reports on LET people are saying its been down since morning. If that is the case then it'd be down for a near 24 hours, since its already past midnight as of now.
Considering the extended length of this outage of there corporate website, I am shocked to see that they are providing no updates on there Twitter or Facebook profile. |

Our site was under a DDoS attack that started around 6 PM yesterday and continued overnight. We did make some DNS changes, which should now be in affect.
I will also look into the error being reported here regarding the redirection issue with Firefox.
Thanks. |

Also, forgot to mention - no other services were affected by this. Virpus's website being down would have no impact on any other VPS server. |
