What server are you on antioch4?

Posted by ModelWebHost, 04-26-2012, 08:29 AM
No. I am on dalinar server and its still downtime. Fed up of such kind of downtime and support is not helping me also. Would that Zachary be here and help me.
Jag is also not present here and I request them to assist me.

All the VPSes are back online now. Would you please confirm that your VPS came back up?

VPS is online now. Zachary, will I have to face this downtime again and again? Why not you move me on any other stable server and what about SLA?

From JPC's forum: Current status for antioch4 - restoring backup, few servers now online, earliest available backup for restoration is april 12th

Once again, dalinar is down. Yesterday, it was down for 6+ hours and now 1 hour has been passed.

That's a serious problem. Too much downtime recently. Hopefully they will solve the problem for good.

Antioch4 downtime now over three days. I get things happen and it takes time to resolve issues but i think this is getting out of hand now. Also, they are replacing the server with a backup from april 12th, so for 12 days they made no backup of their system?

Jagpc so far has dissapointed me on a few things, for example they didnt activate the whmcs license addon until i raised a ticket after ordering with my vps.

I also couldnt access the vps on any port/service except ssh when it was activated, raised a ticket with jagpc, got told they can access it fine, my solusvm panel kept showing the server as offline, and they closed the issue as nothings wrong.

Obviously i still couldnt access whm/httpd etc so i done some googling and it was the csf setup from when they did the build, it was locking me out.

If anyone else gets this issue with jag and no help from support, you need to logon via ssh. Then run:

Service csf stop

Then login to root whm and configure csf correctly to gain access on all services.

Ive asked live support if they have any updates yesterday and they said that they no nothing, previosuly live help have said just raise a ticket and someone will sort it out, i dont see why they have live support if i get told to raise a ticket and if they dont have up to date information.

Ive also not bothered raising a ticket about the downtime as theyre sla does not cover hardware failure and another client got told just to keep an eye on the thread in the forums for updates.

Especially considering the support i got when the server was online!

Well i guess its now a waiting game and hopefully ill be back in action soon...

I wish JPC would include hardware problems for VPS but according to their SLA, only network problems are included for VPS.

Yes, the server dalinar was down again today, 3 times down this month, I have two VPS on that server, I've asked them to move my vps to a more stable server.

Sorry to hear about all your troubles with JPC. They have a pretty solid reputation here, so I am surprised. That being said, if you are not happy -- time to find another host! Hopefully you have backups. The market is saturated, there are quite a lot of hosts out there competing for your business. I am sure you will be able to find one that fits your needs just fine

I have several years with jaguarpc, and my experience with JPC has generally been very good, I've never had many problems, so I'll be patient.

As we were satisfied in the past, that's why we will still wait for JAGPC to improve their services. We hope that they will take a strong action for the betterment of their services.
