Datashack.net colo outage?
Posted by pubcrawler, 03-15-2012, 01:14 AM |
A box we have at Datashack.net's colo facility just went offline (10+ minutes ago).
Anyone else having problems connecting to servers at this facility? |

My colo box at Datashack is fine, as are my other colo systems at wholesale internet. |

We've had no network or power issues at our colo facility today. Our techs will check your ticket and get your issue resolved. |

No issues for us either. |

All good, Datashack support was quick with the ticket and after a manual repowering of the machine all seems well.
Who knows what happened. Have to rake through logs to see if anything in there.
Was back online within an hour of posting here and submitting the ticket (might have been 30 minutes)... Satisfied as usual with the 'Shack. |

pubcrawler,
Good to know and glad everything is fixed and back running for you. That's a bit strange though, maybe it just needed a touch from the 'Shack guys! It was feeling left out?
Anyways, glad everything is back online and they got everything worked out for you. |

your server being offline is not a datacenter having a network issue. |

Since this thread is here I won't start a new one... but yesterday they had a ddos attack that made one of my servers unreachable and then again today I'm seeing the same thing.

Anyone hear from Datashack yet? It's been a few hours now and I'm still seeing this:

It was another ddos attack on part of their network. Everything went back to normal a few hours ago. |
