Webintellects down!
Posted by hardbrasil, 02-15-2012, 05:18 PM |
im customer of webintellects since from 2008.
everything gone fine during this time, we had 2 serious issues
with this company that we almost finished the service.
But in this last month the services become the worst.
the support was the best, they response in 15", help in solutions, and others... now they do not response your ticket and if your server done down there is no one to restart it!
this is unacceptable,
i dont know what happen if they grow up too fast or the company is going down. what i know is, its a hell and my company reputation is not too good like in the past. |

Like always, if your not happy with your service tell them and see what they can do. If not pickup and leave. |

WEBINTELLECTS.COM - We had dedicated servers with WebIntellects.com, which is located in (data center) in California. TIME ZONE: Pacific. They have 1-3 Admins during normal business hours. After hours support is by ticket only. They always had major issues. Len is a great guy, but falls short on understanding that re-sellers answer to a higher authority.
Dedicated Servers should get #1 support, but doesn't. Not managed well at all. WebIntellects being down at 6-8 hours at a time is the common place. Yeah, no response via phone or ticket is very frustrating. We are with a new company now and guess what, they are not doing much better either. Having 1 VPS hosting 10 domains with pure html and no databases should be simple right? Well the load on the VPS in the last 5 days have exceeded 15.- Our VPS went down 14 times since Friday ( 2hours down each time) and they simply can't figure it out. It may be time to move on yet again! |

Sorry for your bad experiences. With all of the new phone apps available nowadays, its hard to imagine having massive down time. Ticket systems are available on smart phones and even live chat. Down time should really be a thing of the past if you are paying attention to tickets 24/7. Even with a small staff, if everyone is on the ball. Downtime should be almost non-existent. As for overselling on VPS. This is a big problem with some providers as they try and save money by putting more servers on a server that is already full. Try looking for a host that can guarantee no overselling and 24/7 support. If they can guarantee these things then you will be golden . |

I start an research for another companies but i think that its not easy to find it.
if you have someone good option to share...
the point is you will know if the company is good when problem comes up and how fast the solution this... its need to be tryed. |

"Your not going to know until you try". This is true, We don't have an answer since the company we use for VPS does over-sell, and we have server spikes in the past 5 days like never before. They know the reason, but give great lip service. We are also looking for a better solution, so sorry to say we don't have an answer. |

Used to be top notch, now terrible.
We have used WebIntellects for over 6 years and while we have had some issues from time to time, they used to be responsive, easy to contact and quick to resolve problems.
Unfortunately, we can no longer recommend their services and would not put your website or server at risk with their services.
Poor attitude, lack of communication and slow response times are ailing this company. |

I have been with webintellects for at least 5 years and initially was with them because they have phone support and used to be very helpful.
I have an inexpensive host plan so I don't expect a lot but they have needed a call by me, about 1-2 times a year lately because my website or email randomly goes down. I initially chose them because they were local (I think San Diego, CA).
However my primary email just went down again and of coarse its a weekend and no one is responding to my ticket and no one is on 24hr chat. to bring that up...chat was not in sync with email support and email seemed to be India. I wouldn't mind too much but I got conflicting input from two different support techs.
hope this helps anyone looking into webintellects. I say there are better options.
I will be moving my site elsewhere asap. Anyone have any suggestions? Just looking for inexpensive host to have a few self promotional websites.

I've been with webintellects for probably 10 years or so. Lately my reseller server got hacked and my emails blacklisted. The suggested a vps so I moved my 10 low traffic domains over and now the server crashes every day. Just turned on the spam filter crashed it yesterday. Logging into wordpress crashed it today. Still down last I checked. Used to be A+ company. Did they really get sold? Need a reliable company with a small reseller plan. Any recommendations? I do think I've had enough. |
