Liquidweb dead?

I did notice some slowness loading WHT about the same time you posted that at 7:28 EST.

works perfect now as well, but I couldn't access WHT for at least a couple of minutes earlier.

I do believe liquidweb is having issues just by browsing the forum. Over 20 minutes ago, opened a few tabs on webhostingtalk and overclockers and they hung there just trying to load. 10-15 seconds later everything was fine. Happens once or twice every other day for me. I have always figured since it seems to happen past 6:00PM for me that it was just the backup system. But seeing other reports of it, I'm not so sure.
The issue I found is that it happens infrequently enough for not many people to notice and when it does happen, it doesn't happen long enough to open a thread and tell everyone it is down. By the time a thread is started, everything is backup. Even if you could or I could at least, I can't open a thread on a forum that won't load for me. |

Could you please be a little more descriptive? Liquid Web is certainly not dead and our network hasn't experienced any problems. If you are having trouble with a webpage or forum it doesn't necessarily mean that Liquid Web is dead. It can be many other things including a problem with the site itself. |

Yes, I contacted them, provided WHT link where I am not the only one who stated this problem, also told them that sites did not load via proxies like hidemyass, therefore, eliminating the possibility of my network fault, IP ban or anything else.
So then they said it's probably my server load issue, which is high during backup, which again, is false since OTHER people reported same issue on LW hosted sites like WHT and hidemyass did not load liquidweb.com itself as well as WHT.
So yeah, they said there are no problems and they can't see any downtimes with their monitoring software, it's probably set to 5 min interval checks instead of a real time, and since those downtimes are short... Yeah, I just gave up at that point.

And to give LW credit, they called me just seconds ago, but as I said, I pretty much gave up on the issue and don't want to deal with this anymore. Let it be my issue. |

When I posted it, I wanted to solve the issue and just to get the feel if other users experience same thing.
It's weekend, I already explained everything I could via ticket and I don't want to ruin my evening by talking about same thing again via the phone.
I will ask mods to remove this topic, sorry for trouble. |
