Continuum Datacenters completely offline?

Posted by CrimsonGT, 02-02-2012, 12:15 AM
I logged on a few hours ago to start my shift and noticed our website as well as numerous machines were down. I went to submit a ticket, and it appears that pretty much all of Continuum including their website and our rack is offline.

Anyone heard anything about this? Not too thrilled considering I strongly suggested to our owner we move out of there months ago when the whole company went to crap.

I don't have any info, but I was noticing the routes die very far out. Fairly concerning.

Edit: Actually, looks like Hurricane Electric may have opened up an alternate route since I last looked. Gets to Chicago now, at least on IPv4.

Connections are making it all the way to their edge and there it stops. Pretty disconcerting.

This is being discussed in an older thread. Latest report:

"Line card failure at the router. Swapping now. Updates shortly."
