DME - Dallas - Anyone else down?
Posted by twhiting9275, 01-27-2012, 10:03 PM |
For close to 2 hours now, my DME VPS in dallas has been pretty much out of commission. Tried to contact them, no response whatsoever (big surprise, pathetic support to begin with), tried rebooting via HyperVM, nothing there (again, big surprise)

Wouldn't be so bad if they actually said "hey, we know it's down, we're working on it", but it's like these clowns punch out at 5 and ignore everything until 9.
This is the second outage with this company this week (Germany, down multiple times not 72 hours ago). Getting kind of hard to justify spending any money with them at all. |

Looks like a longer outage than reported.
According to DME's control panel stuff, the graphs show weird activity starting at 4PM. There were 3-4 unexplainable memory use burst on our graphs followed by a big drop. Last graph point is roughly 6PM.
Try contacting DME:

Looks like it's back up
As far as it being down @4? All my monitoring (8 locations right now, including Dallas) show this ran from 1904 EST to 2114 +/- 3 minutes either way
Tried contacting their support, pretty much given up on getting any support from them at all. |

I am just looking at their VPS graphs for the data. Perhaps the network was still functional after 4PM but services limited or underperforming.
Still down on our VPS though. |

We are back up now. |

If you're still down, it's possible we're on two different nodes. |
