Some of our customers from Indonesia are showing us as being down. I think there's a fiber cut coming out of Asia. |

I am still not able to access any site / wiredtree.com. Although, my sites seems running fine as the google analytic / other user (from India) reports.
So, my question is:
Is there any tool / website (some tracing tool, I suppose) which can tell me where is the problem. I am able to browse all the sites (I tried a lots of them), but non on wiredtree server.
So what could be wrong?? Any help?? |

Ok I just find out I am not able to access en.wikipedia.org and some other sites also.
So, it must be some issue with my ISP. But they (my ISP - In India - Airtel) say, there is no problem at their end. There is no problem at wiredtree.com also.
So, what should I do?? |

run a tracert from your home connection to en.wikipedia.org and see where the timeout occurs.
Hit windows key + r, type 'cmd' and <enter>
then type tracert en.wikipedia.org and <enter>
await results.
if you see this
Code:
123.556.4433 * * * *
something's not good.
if you're on Mac, you can do a traceroute from console, same goes for linux. |

At present, wikipedia.org is accessible, but very slow. But wiredtree.com is not accessible. I have run tracert with following result:

The problem could be at a higher level ISP, or a simular level ISP that you need to be routed through. |
