1euro-hosting down temporarily or permanently?
Posted by GreenYoda2000, 08-25-2011, 12:05 PM |
I have a number of servers with 1euro-hosting that are all unreachable as of this afternoon, and worryingly, so is their website and Support Portal. This has been verified from a number of different locations.
I know they host with OVH and I have some other servers with other providers there, so it doesn't sound like a general OVH meltdown.
Anyone heard anything about the downtime, or worse, them going out of business?

Not being funny, but hosting for 1€ I would be shocked if it was actually online. |

Ummm, he's probably talking about 1euro-hosting.eu, that looks down. |
Posted by lynxus, 08-25-2011, 01:24 PM |
Humm, the issue looks to be bigger?
Name servers:
ns4.secured-server.eu
ns3.secured-server.eu
ns2.secured-server.eu
ns1.secured-server.eu
host -t a 1euro-hosting.eu
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached
Even the nameservers fail to resolve... Glue borked? |

Yes, to clarify for everyone it is specifically:
1euro-hosting.eu - not the .eu at the end - that I am referring to |

I know what you mean, and I don't know exactly which service the "1Euro" refers to, but the VPS's I have cost a lot more than 1 Euro :-) Their pricing is pretty similar to other budget EU providers. |

To their credit, they already did, without being asked. |

Is the whole 1euro-hosting.eu system down again? I have had nothing since yesterday morning and their own site is inaccessible |

Inaccessible for me too |

Glad it's not just me! Noticed that there were similar threads last year and the year before. But this break in service is worse than I have experienced before - nearly 36 hours so far. Is 1euro-hosting.eu the same as the .com version? The latter seems to be based in Greece and though they have a number of phone numbers, you get the same message saying they are all too busy so phone again. Nothing I have ever had from 1euro-hosting'eu (such as bills and receipts) have had any kind of terrestrial address or phone number. |

We also can't access their website, but our services are still running fine (and we have a few), and their WHMCS still seems to be running somewhere as we're receiving overdue invoice notices - which of course we can't pay while their site is down. Leading to me wonder if they perhaps have a DNS issue? |

They're back online now. |
