Burst.net just have a power outage?
Posted by poke8181, 07-21-2011, 04:11 PM |
My dedi just went down for about 10 minutes. It just came back up and my uptime is only a couple of minutes.
Anyone else? |

Hi.
There was no system wide " power outage" A small number of customers in a certain segment of the Scranton, PA Data Center had to be shut down due to an unscheduled but necessary facilities upgrade.
This was planned, albeit in a very short time frame, and all servers in that area were brought down gracefully if possible.
In short, no sudden power loss occurred. |

You don't say which DC, but our stuff in all 4 of Burst's DCs is chugging along nicely. Raised a ticket yet? |

Okay great, thanks for the info.. I'm in Scranton.
My server was back up after about 10 minutes with 3 minutes uptime. Then it went down again for about 5 minutes... logged back on and uptime is 1 minute.
Hopefully my server was gracefully taken down both of these times.... |

Good for you.
My uptime before today was about 50 days. At the end of May was the last outage due to a faulty UPS. We both chimed in on it in this thread;
