Posted by Asher S, 04-08-2011, 02:14 AM
BurstNET are facing issues with their network, here is the response we got from their techs:

Quote:
There is an issue within our network which may be causing packet loss and other issues with your connectivity at this time. Our technicians are working on the issue, and we hope to have this resolved as soon as possible.
Lets hope they get all this resolved fairly quickly.

almost all the burst network space is unavailable to me at present too, sometimes with portions of it coming up and then going down intermittently

There may be one of those large ddos attacks again. Such things can take awhile to filter out. Their network admins know what they are doing and will have it resolved soon.

Some parts of their network are still down, but it looks like their team is working very fast close to a complete resolution hopefully.

Things have been down for roughly three hours here, finally was able to get into the Burst website to send in a ticket.

little better here, still 50% packet loss , they asked us to update our ticket with info, which we did

There was a problem with some switches in Philly and NY which caused intermittent packet loss. The problem was resolved by 2:30AM and everything should have been running smoothly again at around 3:30AM.

Hello,

This is not the case, we have a few tickets open in your support system, can you please take a look at them (tickets #2647987, 2647817 & 2647322). Including the migration you guys had yesterday, and this outage, we're going on to almost 12 hours of downtime at this point.

We appreciate your help in this matter.

Thank you

I was responding to your original post. I'll look into your other issue now.
