Router FAIL for "COS01" location of SpeakServers
Posted by klikli, 01-23-2011, 05:09 AM |
Well it seems that the SpeakServers network is completely DOWN and everything is unaccessible. Their main website is hosted elsewhere which is still UP, their helpdesk is located in their cages in data102 which is DOWN. I tried to get BGP routes from lookglasses and what I get is: BGP4 : None of the BGP4 routes match the display condition
Traceroute stops here with a "network unreachable" message:

Hopefully the downtime would be as minimum as possible.. |

klikli,
There was a edge router that was having some issues at this time, it was resolved promptly, some customers through Level3 (i.e. you) were seeing the problem moreso than others. Total issue was less than 5 minutes.
Please, if you see this happen again feel free to call our NOC and a technician will apprise you of any issues.
(sorry for the delayed response) |

If you leave a VM on our NOC it gets paged to all technicians, so even if someone doesn't answer, they do get it on their mobile device and can respond.
If for some reason the helpdesk is unavailable this is what we ask you do, our phone system is independent from the network and redundant so it's the method we use for any sort of communication if there is an outage. |
