Hmm http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showpo...4&postcount=73

Why were we never informed about this?

I cannot get on there site either, I would have thought they would have hosted there sites and support systems in a different data centre to ensure customer contact during network issues.

There is currently some network maintenance being done at our datacenter. That appears to have possibly run into some unexpected difficulties. I will keep you guys updated.

I am an employee for VPSLatch I don't believe we were properly alerted to this ourselves. I myself did not know about this until I investigated the issue.

Someone needs to start shouting at someone to be honest if i had a site that was generating me LOTS of hits every day something like this would really make me think twice about staying around...!

Not VPSLatch fault i know but...

Everything appears to be back online please contact tech support if you continue to have any difficulties. I would like to apologize once again for any inconviance this has caused.

Hey All!

We apologize for the brief issues, in fact we did forget to alert our customers regarding this maintenance by our core datacenter, DimeNOC. We have taken steps to ensure this will not happen again in the future. All clients who have submitted a ticket will be offered reassurance and proper explanation. We will always continue to always obtain the level of service and customer satisfaction - which is what we are known for.

Again, I deeply apologize for the brief issues caused. I hope there wasn't too much inconvenience. And thanks Chris, for taking the liberty to update on WHT.

Take care and have a safe weekend.

There was a message going around that other people had issues. I saw a couple of posts mentioning they are doing maintenance and they forgot to inform customers. If you search the forums you'll find a big thread with this information, that's how I came across it.

A proper explanation was already offered above, and this is the only thread that is dedicated about this issue. Again we apologize for the inconvenience and we will continue to treat our customers the way they deserved to be treated, with quality and care. Thanks for your continued loyalty and trust.

This could also be the reason why my support ticket has not yet been answered.

Do you have a ticket ID I could look into?

I know during the maintenance our website was off and on too because our site is hosted in the DimeNOC DC as well.

However the maintenance was complete long ago and our normal operations have resumed. Our guaranteed 25 minute response time in the support department is still in place...

It was already answered by Austin minutes after you opened the ticket, also please be noted that as mentioned in the welcome e-mail, cPanel activation/licenses can take up to 24-48 hours to be activated.

In any case this is more of an administration ticket, however we do ask for sometime to register the CPanel license. We will register your license in our next batch tonight.

Ok great and thanks for the prompt reply.

I doubt VPSLatch would like to have downtime either.

You get what you pay for. They are budget VPS provider, dont expect them to provide 100% uptime!

I am content with them as long as I get 99.5% uptime. So far, I have 99.95% uptime last month and 100% uptime this month.

I really hate those who keep threatening a charge-back. This is behavior of 10 years old kid.

VPSLatch's main website is currently down because of DDoS attack. They are doing maintenance right now, I think:

They seem to be back online, and they just answered one of my tickets.

Things are back up now, indeed we did have a DDoS attack but things appear to be mitigated at this point.
