Hostestate's Server Down

Posted by kytech, 11-15-2010, 05:23 PM
Have had 100% uptime since starting with Hostestate 2 months ago but we got a failure notice at 11:33 AM EST this morning that Hostestate's Abalone server was down and is still not working at 4:25 PM now. Closing in on 5 hours of downtime. Luckily we only have one of our sites on the account.

We have heared nothing from Hostestate yet and livechat is currently unavailable due to "technical issues." Has anybody heared anything?

Best option is trying to contact them. Do they have a phone number?

Thanks for the suggestion, however, we have submitted a support ticket with no response (they usually respond in under 10 minutes) and we did call their phone number, but no one answered.

If you are reffering to Hostestate.com, their website seems up and their livechat also.

Have you checked recently or are you talking about another host?

Yes it is Hostestate.com, their website is up, but the server where their clients are hosted on is down. Here is the link for their server status: https://hostestate.com/secure/serverstatus.php .

As for the live chat it says it is online, but when you click to start a livechat it comes up that you must leave a message "Due to Technical Issues, Support via chat is currently unavailable."

Actually their live chat is offline, if you read, it's asking you do "Leave a message".

On topic: All you can really do is wait for a reply on the ticket if you can't contact them via phone.

Hi massive problem in tech supports response to the server being down, clients on the particular server will be offered a credit and explanation and re-assurance.

So just to re-cap the server that was down is now up.
