vl0019.gwy02.sctn01.hostnoc.net
Posted by refreshed, 09-17-2010, 04:55 PM |
I don't know what these are called but it's sort of out of my current provider I guess they are inside this hop? Anyways what happens every 3-4 hours it goes out for 30 seconds or so.
I did traceroutes every day for a few days now and it was always the 9th hop that timmed out * * and when it was online it would be vl0019.gwy02.sctn01.hostnoc.net (63.218.31.42)
So I got my players who did not disconnect to do a tr and they did not have vl0019.gwy02.sctn01.hostnoc.net (63.218.31.42) at all in their hope.
So how would I report this to that above company? I went to the site but it was a login system. |

Contact BurstNET -- That is their network. |

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's a peer connection outside of our network. But I'm not a tech. Please open a ticket with our support team and include a traceroute to and from your server. |

Thanks for trying but when I have people all over the world and 80% of them drop that connect via the hop I posted and the other 20% are not going through that hop and stay connected would it be 80% of our ISP's that seam to block something not in our countries lol |

I do hope our support team has already answered your ticket. That said, we have just under 10 different peer connections, so if any one has an issue, it does not affect the while network. |

Unfortunately I was not lucky to have the issue fixed yet. It's really starting to anger my users a ton I get many complaints a day from it.
Burst said something about not being their customer so they would send to volume drive yet their names on the hardware?
I think even being a user and not a customer even from the outside you would want to fix faulty hardware?
Come on Burst save me |

Well it might not be burst's router that's to blame. E.g. volumedrive's issue that burst has no control over. |

HI,
I think you must contact the company from which you have brought this account from. |

Darn I been with them over a week on the issue back and forth they did say they were looking into it. I just want it fixed before everyone abandons me because of these outages. I run something slightly sensitive to it and the way it works is if they don't exit right they get rollbacks and such.
Alpha software =) |

Update on this my Host VolumeHost is going change my IP or something that hopefully it does not go through that node? Makes no sense since its a issue but no one seams to fix it. |
