Posted by fast_fusion, 07-19-2010, 04:05 PM Hello,
Firstly I would like to sincerely apologize to all customers on this node.
Genuine Explanation:
We purchased this server as the first of the 4 servers we currently operate, we purchased this in good faith from 1Dollar-Hosting.com, a reseller of Burst.net.
It seems today that our account with 1Dollar-Hosting.com has been deleted, and the server has been powered off from the Burst.net datacenter, we have received NO EXPLANATION from the reseller regarding this issue, or what was done to cause it.
Our actions:
We have contacted Burst.net and requested them to transfer this server over into our own name under our own authorized Burst.net server reseller account, and have offered to pay for a fresh month for that server, we are unsure wether or not they will do this, but we have to try something.
VPS's affected:
All VPS's on 64.120.134.2 - 64.120.134.62 are affected by this issue, from our records that is 13 VPS's.
I would like to again offer my apologies to the clients experiencing loss of service due to this, we can assure them that any more than 48 hours downtime will result in us issueing either a FULL REFUND to those clients, or offer them a free month of service at our expense.
If you have any questions please contact me direct on admin [at] diverseweb.co.uk
Thank you
Malcolm Webster, Owner & Network Administrator of Diverse Web.

Posted by fast_fusion, 07-21-2010, 04:13 PM OK just a small update for those interested.
We have managed to recover all files and settings for each VPS with no data loss at all, we have restored most of the accounts but are just waiting for the remaining few clients to contact us with passwords so we can access their VPS.
Thank you, and once again we apologize for this inconvenience.
