All seems to be down for about 8 minutes now. Can't get to the portal, phone hold times long, assume they're aware...?

edit: got through on the phone. They are aware and fixing.

Same here, also down for me. My servers with them are also offline, almost 10 minutes now.

I didn't get any maintenance notification for tonight

I seriously doubt they'd do a maintenance without notifying clients.

Anyone know what happened?

Posted by hotpass105, 07-15-2010, 01:05 AM
I'm hosted at netriplex. Looks like it's back now. Werid thing is my VPS provider's website is down also and so is my VPS. (centralhosts.net) - Skiplink

Our check at 07/15/2010 00:41:30 EST determined that finalbarrage.net is now responding on port 80

Your service was down for about 10 minutes 56 seconds

We recorded 15m (+/- ~1min) of downtime. (1min monitoring intervals)

What sucks about this one was that we couldn't enter the client panel. The phone number we tried also didn't work.

Here is the explanation given:

Dear Netriplex Customer,

At 12:28 AM EDT (GMT-4) today, July 15, 2010, Netriplex AVL01 encountered a network outage that lasted until approximately 12:43 AM. Network engineers are aware of the issue and are currently investigating the root cause. Our initial determination is that it may be the result of the same bug we attempted to resolve with a fix from Cisco during our June 30, 2010 maintenance window. Unfortunately we do not have further information as to exactly what transpired to cause this outage. We have a ticket open with Cisco TAC at their highest severity level and are working through diagnostics with them to determine the root cause so we can ensure that appropriate measures are implemented to prevent this from happening again. As soon as we have further information regarding this incident, we will update you.

Thank You,

This is the 3rd network outage in a week.
First one on July 7th for a few minutes
Second yesterday for about a minute
Third today.

I hope they fix this soon.

ishan,

I monitor our gears there with 1 minute interval using Hyperspin. I have not noticed any downtime until today.

The July 7th downtime was due to a DDOS attack which affected only a few clients.

The short outage you experienced was the result of a DDOS attack which affected a small handful of customers. We've since mitigated the attack and everything is running well.
I have not received any information on the downtime yesterday.

We have some VOIP servers running, so any downtime lasting even a few seconds is noticed immediately.

Ishan

Did not experience any downtime yesterday. Perhaps it was also affecting partial network only.

Well both netriplex.com and uberbandwidth.com were offline, along with the support portal. Are you sure you weren't down? Is your check resolution 10 minutes or 1 minute?

He is talking about a downtime yesterday, this 10 minute downtime was today (I am in India, so GMT +5:30). We faced 3 outages in last 7 days.
