Burst.net Down
Posted by fast_fusion, 07-09-2010, 12:02 PM |
Hi,
Is anyone else having problems with the Burst.net datacenter? Our servers are down and so is the Burst.net website.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks
EDIT: Burst.net site is back online but the servers are still down |

You may not have noticed the 5 minute downtime then, its actually back up now lol |

I see. I didn't receive any outage warnings from our monitoring system, reporting every 2 minutes. |

Ours was definately down for around 5 mins, not a lot but we was on the server performing tasks when it went down so we noticed instantly, it may be a different network to yours. |

The 5 minute downtime affected only a few dozen servers. The network was not down. only a switch that led people to their servers. All of this is on our forum site, BTW. |

Thanks BurstNet for getting back to us and letting us know, it is highly appreciated.
I am not actually a direct customer of you as I went through a reseller (not sure why because prices are the same, not sure if I can move my services to you though), however as I am not a direct customer I do not tend to use your forums, I will do now though
Thanks again, 5 minutes is acceptable in my opinion |

Yes our monitoring systems detected this 5min brief outage, it had affected our dedicated server - however 5 mins is perfectly acceptable. |
