TeamVPS [removed] down and no reply to support tickets

Posted by grawat, 06-20-2010, 05:39 AM
I had a VPS with TeamVPS and until day before yesterday it was working fine. I got the email on June 8th from Virpus saying that TeamVPS customers had been bought by them and that all accounts would be migrated. I sent the email with the subject "TeamVPS Keeper" to sales@myvirpus.com as requested. On June 16th I got an email from TeamVPS saying that my invoice which was due on 15th June was now overdue. My account was set to autopay the invoice so it should have been paid automatically. I tried paying manually as well however, I got an error saying "Invalid Gateway Login!!:". I contacted TeamVPS support but, I got no reply at all. I then contacted Virpus support and after a few emails back and forth they told me that they didn't have any details about my account and therefore couldn't help. Yesterday I sent an email again to sales@myvirpus.com to transfer my account if it hasn't been already but, no replies from there yet. I'm not sure what to do now since, my VPS has been down for 2 days and I only have partial backups and would at least like access to the VPS in order to make backups even if I can't get a new one (I know I should have made backups but, that can't be done now so please don't post advise on that issue). Any help from either TeamVPS support or Virpus support or anyone else out here would be really appreciated.

Hello,

Sorry to hear your situation. Virpus have representative here to explain the situation. Let's just wait the explaination from them. Did you try contacting them by going to their WHOIS and calling them up? How long did you wait before you created this thread?

As clarification, Virpus is NOT down and I would like to request the thread title be modified.

We have not yet acquired the customers of TeamVPS. We cannot do anything until we get the passwords for their servers (which we're expecting to tomorrow). If the node is indeed down, I can submit a reboot request, but if there is a hardware problem, there is nothing we would be able to do.

Also, we're not replying to TeamVPS tickets just yet, so you may not receive a reply (that plus it isn't even business hours if you're opening tickets with sales). Send me an e-mail at kenneth.odem (at) virpusnetworks.net

I don't think I can change the title now but, thanks for the help Ken. My VPS is up and running now.
