I think the problem is with their upstream provider, cologuys network. Hope you got yours back online soon mate. |

some update from Dominic, so this explains why our server is up while yours still down!
We are currently experiencing network issues with our TW Telecom uplink.
A part of our network is reachable while another part of the network is not, we have been working with our technicians over the past 2 hours to get this resolved.
I appologize for the inconvenience and will update you once we show that this issue has been resolved. |

Our own websites and Support Systems are hosted offsite so they should always be available.
As for the outage ... we will send out a RFO to clients once everything is working again. |

Was up for 10 minutes and back down again now, glad to finally have a reply from support though... |

Another update:
"Hello,
During the past few hours one of our clients has become a "victim" of a DDOS attack, this is causing our ports to fill up and eventually not being able to provide a decent connection to our clients.
At this time we have identified the client who is under DDOS and this client has been suspended, we are now waiting on our vendors start announcing our other netblocks again." |

And I even have the time to handle non-technical queries for Rhoel
As has been said, we are working at our full shift capacity to return the network to normal. |

According to Cologuys they are waiting for the TW network guy to wake up...they've given him until 6AM to resolve it before they go knocking on his door.
They are waiting for the guy to nullroute the affected IP range. |

Hello,
At this moment most of our IP ranges are working again, IP Addresses within the 67.43.x range are still unavailable at this time.
There is no ETA available as of yet for restoration of full service. |

and yet DOWN AGAIN! what a disappointment. |
Posted by QuickWeb-Roel, 04-05-2010, 02:49 AM |
now back up again, luckily only got 1 server there, never heard back from them again regarding SLA they promised end of March. But then again, in fairness the hardware is rock solid, server been only down when they moved DC space early January, it's just the network that's unstable lately.

Yikes, they should reevaluate their business with TW. |

The only business we have with TW would be the connection from the Infomart the building we are in. AboveNET are currently building in to the building and should be online as a fiber carrier between the Infomart and the building in 30+ days. |

You should open a ticket with our Technical Support if you encounter problems with reaching your server.
Posting it on WHT doesn't get your problems solved. |

Is there much chance of support responding in a timely manner? Recently during outages support responses have been extremely delayed (1-3 hours after ticket submission), better response times would be a real bonus. |
