page-zone, network issues for 3 days

Posted by bumble bee, 03-21-2010, 01:51 AM
Hi folks,

I am new here having found this forum through my frustration of the last few days. I hope this is the correct place for this.

My sites on page-zone have been not responding properly since Thursday. The server has been failing to respond or responded excuriatingly slowly. This is via both http and pop email. I have run traceroutes from 3 different locations and it is the same problem via all three routes.

page-zone's own "server monitor" doesn't respond. Their own forum is unresponsive. Support tickets are ignored (though the support Web site seems to work).

It seems that the server is running but extremely sluggishly or there is a network problem that is slowing traffic.

Also cannot access my WHM control panel. Does anyone else have the same problem? My account is a shared, "reseller" account on 206.212.253.64

Are there any page-zone staff on the forum?

Thanks

Their website and support desk loads quickly for me. I suggest contacting their support via alternate means (proxy, phone, ect)?

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I said that,

My sites on page-zone have been not responding properly since Thursday. The server has been failing to respond or responding excuriatingly slowly. Same thing with the email server. Making them unusable. This situation still exists going into the 4th day!

I have run traceroutes from 3 different locations and it is the same problem via all three routes.
The server in question is at 206.212.253.64.

They do not have phone support and they are not responding to the "support tickets."

If you know of a phone #, please, please tell me.

Thank you.

Why don't you have an email address that runs off another server?

Try contacting "page-zone" via PM, I have seen him active on these forums.

Eek, sorry to hear about this.

As FastServ mentioned, page-zone is active so PMing him may be a good idea.

Hopefully you can get this all resolved quickly.

Thanks for the feedback. I would PM him but this forum won't let new members use that function at first.

BTW, I just received an email from Page-Zone tech support that he is looking into the problem. Of course that is 4 days after my opening a ticket.

I hope it is resolved soon. The business week starts in a few hours.

Finally this morning, Tues March 23, the issue seems to have been resolved.

Rebooting a router and maybe other stuff at the data center was the action taken, I think. Tech support said,

About 8 Am the network and ipaliases was restarted as a last ditch effort. We couldn’t find anything wrong but glad that it is working again. I don’t know if that’s what did it ...
