Where is Blurstorm?

Posted by dimagic, 03-18-2010, 12:26 AM
Blurstorm have been hosting my sites for over 3 years, 14 days ago it all disappeared and all my site and emails no longer work. I cannot get hold of anyone at Blurstorm and no-one responds to all my emails and helpdesk messages. Have they gone bust? Their website is still live but their customer services SUX they have ruined my business!

Very cute. Well you have my attention now. #1 We haven't gone bust. We are very much alive and well. #2. Any customer we have that has an account on here can attest that all servers have been extremely stable for almost a year now. Occasionally you have users that upload insecure scripts that need updating and we help out above and beyond. And #3. They also know that there are MANY ways to contact me personally and our support helpdesk which is the primary method.

Question: WHO are you and why are you trying to give me a bad rep on other boards? What is your primary domain? And if our customer service SUX (as you put it) then why have we been ranked #1 on WHJ for over a year now with NO complaints except for your little entry that knocked us into 2nd place?

yay - a human at last! This seems to be the only way I can get your attention, I have filled in your contact us form several times, (when it is working..) the autoreply says I will get a response in 24 hours. What support helpdesk? The only thing I ever receive is autoreplies - no actual response.
I have also sent 5 emails to robert, also to root and webmaster and info - xlr8 is no longer active..
Sad that I have been a customer of yours and always paid on time for over 3 years yet you do not recognise my name - Magic Designs. Your server appears to be running yet my isp tells me there is a problem with it that does not allow it to be seen. As this is the most popular isp for New Zealanders and your server sites have been visible through it for over 3 years, what have you changed in the last 4 weeks?

You've got to be kidding me man! I have personally given you stellar support so you're last person I'd expect to hear from. It sounds like your ISP is blocking you from seeing our servers here in the states. We have changed nothing in a looong time. In fact, everyone has been very pleased with the uptime and everything as far as I know. Sure there's been a problems here and there that were isolated incidents having nothing to do with the server but everyone has those. And as for the helpdesk you need to give me ticket #s ASAP. I see every ticket that comes in and we never leave anyone hanging. It sounds like you're just not getting any of our replies. I still can't believe it's you. But anyway... do this. Send an email to patriot@blurstorm.com and see if I get it.

Wow no replies. I think I gave him long enough. I waited and waited but in the end FYI it turned out that his ISP was indeed blocking US DNS servers. Soooo anyway... thought I'd put that last 2 cents in. Back to business.
