Anya P.: Hello, you've contacted NameCheap Live Support! How can I help you today?
Wojtek: Hello, I'd like to know if you are currently experiencing any issues with your DNS hosting. I cannot ping any of the nameservers
Wojtek: dns1.registrar-servers.com
dns2.registrar-servers.com
dns3.registrar-servers.com
Anya P.: the servers are currently temporary down, but this questions is not related to our hosting servers, this is related to the free DNS management. We do apologize for the inconveniences. The technician is working on this issue.
Wojtek: ok, thanks you

Confirmed down |

Atleast they know there is a problem .
Would've been nice to see something on the official status page though, rather than having to rely on WHT to confirm the issue |

I feel better now that I know that there is a true problem, and it is not my fault . |

They have something on the status page now. Apparently experiencing DDoS on their DNS servers. |

As per their status page changing to V1 does indeed fix the issue. |
