Hiya,

Sorry we've got a problem with our firewall and it will be resolved shortly.

Best Regards,

Dom

Hi Dom,

Any update on this?

George.

Posted by DominicQuick, 03-12-2010, 06:11 AM
Just to update we are not running a UK service anymore due to the incompetance of Peer1.

To recover your website we urge you to contact peer1 at www.peer1.com where they will release backups of your files.

As of this morning TrustaHost in the UK ceases to exist however we will still carry on our US Hosting sector.

dom i've tried contacting peer1 they wont talk to me about any thing as you're the main point of contact.

Posted by Dan-CKS, 03-12-2010, 06:35 AM
They said the same to me, please contact me on 0845 269 8396 asap cheers

Peer1 Hosting has contracts with all its customers and respect the agreements; as such, we do not release information to third parties who are not authorised on the account.

With this in mind, we can only release information to Trustahosts.

For more information, please feel free to contact our customer service manager on +44 (0) 2380 111635

We would like to make clear that there are no issues with any of the Peer1 network or 17 datacentres.

Then contact your provider, who has probably defaulted on payment to his provider

Dom, if youre by any chance reading this - please send an email to peer1 giving me priviliages to the trustahost account. I can only access my data with this being done.

WHT forum says i don't have priviliages to do it could you PM him for me with the following:

"Dom, please please ring, email or update a ticket with peer1 and add me (belowzer0) as a user on the trustahost account."

Sounds more like a billing issue than anything else. Getting a server turned off is one thing, but not being bothered to get it re-enabled is another.

DOM said something about the firewall towards the start of the thread.

Indeed, which I don't believe

Nobody in their right mind would just dump a server if it was causing problems. You'd fix the problem or migrate the server elsewhere.. not just give up and tell clients to contact Peer1 themselves.

Posted by Belowzer0, 03-12-2010, 08:16 AM
many thanks FNS

yep i certain that its a billing issue - i'm in communication with peer1 who have been very helpful although their tightly bound by the data protection act. Reading between the lines i'd say trustahost has missed its due payment or is at least one payment behind.

peer1 assure me the data hasnt been deleted so that is good news - but they cant give me access until dominic assigns me as a user on the account. once this is done i can access my data - probably in return for a fee to peer1 for the uptime.

i had so much to do today and now the days been wasted by this, to say i'm not impressed is a bit of an understatement considering i paid trustahost in advance for a years hosting for two reseller accounts less than 50 days ago

Good point, However this could just mean the end for trustahost.

I contacted them myself this morning, they where basicaly hint'ing the same thing, they said we are not facing no network issues.

Anyway lets just wait for Dom's reply before any assumptions. if we got no reply then it looks like he has ran.
