COLO@ Welcomes Zayo Expasion to Its Atlanta Datacenter

Posted by ericgregory, 08-08-2012, 11:17 AM COLO@ is pleased to welcome a Zayo Group expansion within its COLO@34 data center facility located at 34 Peachtree St. in Atlanta, GA. Within the COLO@ facility, Zayo customers will have access to Zayos lit and dark fiber services. This partnership with COLO@ provides Zayo with an additional on-net building and the space and power to deploy multiple customers.
Zayos Atlanta expansion carries on our philosophy of bringing many data center options to our customers, states Glenn Russo, Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development at Zayo Group. Zayos dense network presence in Atlanta accesses all carrier hotels through the region.
Zayos decision to interconnect within the COLO@ facility provides us with access to the entire Zayo network, says Gary Simat, CEO of COLO@. This network expansion allows us to reach all central offices in which Zayo is connected. Zayo offered a solution to connect our customer from its main campus directly into the colocation facility through a point-to-point connection. We are always looking for ways to provide even greater service to our customers and the new Zayo connection is a great help.
