Hi,
Staminus seems to be down including my server. Been down for sometime now and I am losing good money from this.
Can anyone tell me if this is constant problem with staminus and if so please provide me with someone else.
Thank you |

Appears to be a POP issue but we're unaware of further details. You'll really need to speak with Staminus themselves. We just posted an announcement as we provide services from Staminus as well. Reference: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=899404 |

Nasty stuff, I wish Staminus a speedy recovery. We also have customers affected by this. |

Well any news? anyone? |

No other than it appears Gigenet, Blogspot.Com (Google), and others appear to be affected. Which means there are much larger companies than us already escalating. We can only wait at this point.
Hopefully we'll hear from Staminus or one of the others as soon as there is an update. My guess is they are all in "break-fix" mode and trying to get their services back online and/or escalating on the phone. They will update as soon as they know, just have to be patient. I know it's difficult. |

Yes, Staminus is down again. According to their IRC channel topic, Qwest cut a fiber cable on a transport loop.
No information on when things will be restored. |

Ok so guys whats the deal here. Who has been using these guys for awhile? Im trying to run some very large websites through these guys and so far the past couple weeks I have seen some unprofessional tech support by this company. Is this something that happens frequently with this company or is this very rare downtime? This is getting very old I have to say. Whats the deal here? |

I am not a client of Staminus but most companies have diverse entry points and multiple carriers. They should be able to advertise on another provider and be back up within minutes. More details would be interesting on this outage. |

They dont have multiple carriers is the problem. This better not happen anymore for a very long time or Im done and I will let the whole world know it. This is killing me. They are starting to mess with my money. |

They have multiple carriers, but all the carriers are at a co-lo in downtown Los Angeles while the servers are at some undisclosed suburban LA area location apparently connected by a single loop. |
