Limestone Networks Down ? [Merged]

Posted by kikloo, 08-20-2009, 02:31 AM
Hi,

Is limestonenetworks.com down ? I am not able to reach my server and their site. Please confirm.

Thanks.

Limestone seems to be having issues...

My domain won't resolve (they handle the name service), neither will there own website.

There phone line is busy.

Anyone else see this?

Anyone not having problems getting to it?

Thanks

I just started another thread with this same issue.

I think it is a DNS server problem.

Try logging in using your i.p. address. Of course that won't help any of your users.

I've had two other people on other networks confirm this issue.

Yes I cannot seem to access their site either.

Would be nice if they posted here a status update...anyone able to reach them by phone?

I can't access their website either.

If they have 24/7 phone # then I suggest you call them.

Keep us posted.

Anyone have their phone number ? Please give me, thanks.

Unable to resolve target system name limestonenetworks.com.

There was another post made about the same issue. I'm able to access the site now whereas I wasn't able to 1 minute ago. It may be a good idea to contact them to see if everything is OK.

Call them up and see if they can give you information on the downtime you experienced.

Yeap. But it seems he is having troubles in getting in touch with them. In any case I think that it worth keep trying to get in touch with them.
Also check and make sure that is not a problem on the side of your ISP.
Good luck.

Loads for me and also a little slow...

Maybe capped? (jokes) probs/maybe a DDOS attack on their network.

Hi,

I don't know what has happened but after they got up my server was very slow. I opened the ticket and they did something to server and it became okay, after few mins. they asked me to take down the server for some tests and after that it never came online.

The server is online but from IP address only. All the domain names hosted on the server are no longer working and Jeff from lime stone has told me that the domain is not configured in their rockware control panel.

Heck the thing is when i have'nt touched anything then why it has stopped working. Its now been so long and my server is still down thanks to lime stone networks!

Simple thing happened: Limestone's all servers including their website went down. Their website came back, my server came back but was slow, i requested to check and they asked if they can take it down for test, i said okay, now server is up but from IP address only why ? They say domain name is not configured in rockware, who removed it ? don't know. So end result: 1 down server with angry clients running behind my back for no fault of mine or maybe my fault for choosing limestone ?!

Limestone Networks experienced a short disruption of its DNS services. The network remained 100% online, however client's using our DNS (including our own web site) were interrupted temporarily.

An automated script caused a configuration file overwrite on the authoritative DNS servers around 1:25. We were alerted of the problem immediately and the effects were fully mitigated within 10 minutes.

OP, I have personally responded to your ticket and am investigating your specific problem which is unrelated to the DNS issue. I will respond promptly to your ticket with additional information.

I just need my server up and running properly as it was before the dns issuse happened. Thats it. I am not asking for any refund or anything. Just get the server up!
