Madcomm.net down?! what's up?!
Posted by sevensin, 07-21-2009, 11:02 AM |
My server and the host's site itself has been off and on for the last 2 weeks, but now it's been down for about 4 days. Would anyone have any information about this?
I was actually backing up my data when it went offline, so my most recent backs are a bit dated.
It wouldn't be as bad if there was a bit more communication between the host and it's customers. I've very disappointed in this company. |

*Update*
Still down, phone number still disconnected, no notices whatsoever...
I've lost so much data and revenue from downtime. What a huge mistake it was for me to go with this host.
Avoid this host (if it ever comes back) or any other variants started by it's owner. Mad Communications? Ironic name because that's pretty much how it has left me feeling.

I hope you made a backup, if you have then I'd suggest finding a new host if they don't come back online soon. |

Unfortunately this situation happens all to often and its always a hard reality when it does. I've said it before and I will say it once again, "Never trust anyone but yourself with your data." If you would make a backup of your website when you do updates it would be much easier.
It does not excuse how the company has treated you and I really hope the situations gets resolved. The company should have other means of updating clients if they are having a situation regarding the company. Best of luck to you! |
