CreativHost Down!? o_O

Posted by dcserver, 07-08-2009, 02:52 PM
Hey guys, are there any customers of CreativHost (on any service level) who are experiencing issues in accessing their site, or emailing their sales & support departments? I know the guy has had issues with his partner but having their website down & no service for over 2 weeks is nuts!!!!

If their website has been down for 2 weeks and you haven't received any notification regarding the issues then I'm sorry to say it but they are no longer in operation. If they were still in operating then taking the time to notify the clients would be the most professional approach.

They were the only company out there that I saw had unlimited bandwidth, storage space, free WHMCS & eNom accounts, & all at $300.00 yearly. If anyone else knows of an alternative (since CreativHost hasn't reached out to anyone since this happened), please let me know. They deserve stiff competition at this point (& I need a fast solution that isn't priced more than they are & is reliable).

I would personally try FDCserver.net they are a big pricey but they stand behind the fact when they say all the bandwidth you want - they mean it. I know alot of people that have SHOUTcast servers with them. SHOUTcast streams take alot of bandwidth. Best of luck!

Hmm that website goes right to HostGator, & they didn't seem to offer what I was looking for. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

Lol...That's some marketing technique by HostGator!

I heard that one of the business partners bailed out and the company went bankrupt. Not sure what the official story is.

You can do a whois on their domain and send an email to the contact email.

Well, the "official" story is that the previous owners' partner (who was the techie) went "AWOL" - the domain name / operation has now been sold and the new owners will be re-launching the service once the transfer has been completed.

Looks more like a crappy affiliate than HG getting dirty
