can anyone tell me whats up with surpasshostingdotcom and they and my server seem down or unreachable - i cant find out from here help

exactly why i came on here, woke up and all my sites were dead, went to look at surpass and cant even access there site not happy :@ anyone know there contact details?

i oinly have the stuff they sent in the original email so you probs have it too. and all their domains seem un accessable atm the email address i have is sales at surpasshosting dotcom but i guess if their domain is down then they wont get it i did a visual trace route for them and it seemed to get stuck and some place called defender technoligies hosting llc?

They are having issues at their datacenter and many (maybe all) servers are having networkissues. Their helpdesk is still working though and they are working to solve the issues.

link is desk dot surpasshosting dot com and its a https one dam url restrictions its slow but works

yup, lumoslighting dotco dotuk, lazyrecords dotco dotuk - both my sites are down as well as - surpasshosting dotcom surmunity dotcom surmaniacs dotcom hostdime dotcom all owned by surpass ^^^^^^^ Will be interesting to see how long my site is down for - an ecommerce site loses all purpose if you can't access it! yes, they are all down, as well as all their resellers, or the other services that rent servers at their NOC since about 1 hour (10.30am GMT)

ahh bear -- i wondered where this topic had dissappeared too! first person to get their site back wins a prize! gaa i'm losing revenue from my site!!!! come on surpass!!! Do you think they've been hacked? What could cause such a huge outage? edit: lol just seen everyone who's posted in this topic is still online - obviously waiting to see who wins the prize

mine is back yay i win edit - dam i was installing jetspeed 2 on my desktop and its used 99% cpu when installing stop ie from refreshing ah well surpass hosting has been great in the last 6 months for me - rock solid and fast lets hope it was a one off glitch

in the last 30 mins or so it seems to have gone down again yet surpass's own site is up?

sorry for more posting on my own but they seem to have a completely new set of price plans which werent there a few days ago.. will have to login to my control panel (assuming i can) to see how different it is hmm seems like its up again - and ive just looked and i have loads less stuff than i should so i might complain (sorry) raise a ticket Last edited by hal9000; 07-06-2006 at 11:52 AM.

they have been really good apart from this problem - which they fixed quite quickly - service has been rock solid and I know of no other host that has as good a range of features
