I just lost all connections to my box with EZZI, their main site doesn't work either. I wonder what is up?

Same here. Outage on one of our VPS nodes. Liam

Back up now, they must be right on top of whatever happened.

Looks like it was a power outage? I have a friend in the NYC saying there is heavy rain and thunderstorms.

Posted by mctDarren, 07-11-2006, 05:40 PM
Could be, I'm not far out from them in NJ and it's looking purty cloudy here...

Posted by nanyo, 07-11-2006, 05:43 PM
Oh well, all is good now.

Posted by swiftrhett, 07-11-2006, 05:49 PM

im back up, looks like a power outage. uptime 18:06:12 up 34 min, This is BS, they "solved" their power issues a while ago, yet we still have them alot!

Posted by brithostnetwork, 07-11-2006, 06:08 PM
I just got this from them: OUR REPLY ================================================================= Date : 07/11/2006 There was a brief power surge and the UPS should've held. We are looking into it and most likely will replace the UPS. Server is reponding. Closing ticket. Liam

Lets hope they tell us when the next outage will be...

Folks, As quoted in here already - the issue was in the power distribution room. the fault has been repaired, and everything is back to normal at this time. If your specific server is still down, please open a trouble ticket right away, and we'll console in and take a look. Erik - I'm sorry you feel this way. Immediately after our move to the new data center at AccessIT, we continued to have some issues because the wonderful union electricians decided to modify our spec. We corrected all issues within the month, and since then, have had negligible trouble with the electrical systems. If you've notices "a lot" of issues, I'd certainly like to be brought up to speed so that I can address the problem. PM or e-mail me directly to discuss, and I'll be more than happy to work with you.

Erik, If we need to do a scheduled maintenance, then we'll most certainly put out a notice well in advance. This was an emergency, and had to be addressed immediately to avoid further damage, and possibly a fire. Once again, we sincerely regret the inconvenience this caused to our customers.

Posted by propcgamer, 07-11-2006, 07:57 PM
Yes this was an emergency, but you also mentioned in your notice: "We currently have engineers on site working on the problem, but we do anticipate an outage that could last upto 30 minutes." Which I interpret as the engineers may have to have another outage that would last up to 30 minutes, so I would hope that would be a scheduled maintenance.

Erik, Sorry for the confusion here. The engineers were there because they were called when the alarms went off. There is no further maintenance that needs to be done - so don't worry.

Well it seems that you guys have a large number of power issues, that other providers do not seem to have, I recall about a year ago? where you had many power issues and everybody was assured that it would not happen again. That is one thing that makes me I hope you can understand that part and know what I am talking about.

Oh ok, sounds good then.
